Gerard Mounier

Gérard Mounier, C.Adm.

President & CEO

Throughout his career in corporate financing, Gérard Mounier has specialized in the financing of infrastructure, energy, industrial assets and mining projects. A graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris and member of the Chartered Administrators Order of Québec, he brings extensive experience in both the banking and private sectors, where he held various management positions at the Crédit Lyonnais, Société Générale Capital Canada, RBC Royal Bank, BNP Paribas Canada, Laurentian Bank and Caisse Centrale Desjardins. He later served as Strategic Advisor and Co-Chair of the Infrastructure Group at the major Québec law firm, Lavery Lawyers, before joining GNR Québec Capital.

Project Manager

After studying mechanical engineering at Montréal’s École de technologie supérieure, David acquired extensive field experience as Territory Business Manager at Fibergrate Composite Structures, a leader in fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), and later as Director of Business Development for the construction firm, Allen Entrepreneur Général. At Fibergrate, he worked on numerous infrastructure projects and their implementation strategies. His experience at Allen further cemented his skills in developing construction projects and managing projects in the municipal, agrifood and industrial sectors, as well as in the biogas market.

Benoit Lamontagne, B.Sc.

Business Development Manager

After graduating in biology with a major in ecology from the Université de Sherbrooke, Benoit Lamontagne developed an expertise in waste management during his career as an environmental professional. After working within GSI Environnement and RCI Environnement, he developed the first organic waste collection service for Services Matrec inc., where he subsequently held the positions of Project Manager – Environment, and then General Manager for the Drummondville and Brossard division. Later, he was appointed Director at Solum Environnement. He now uses his expertise in waste management and environmental legislation to support the development of RNG production infrastructures within GNR Québec Capital.
