Kurt Sorschak
President & CEO
of Xebec Adsorption Inc.
A graduate of the American University of Paris and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Kurt Sorschak is the co-founder of Xebec and has developed it from a local compressed air and gas dryer manufacturer into an internationally renowned clean energy company with a global presence. He has also played a key role in building strong relationships with various universities and laboratories in Canada and the US for the development of innovative adsorption-based gas purification.
After serving as General Manager of the Xebec division at Parker-Hannifin Corp. and Managing Director at Domnick Hunter Group PLC (a subsidiary of Parker-Hannifin Corp.), Kurt Sorschak joined the board of directors of the Canadian National Gas Vehicle Alliance and of Xebec China, which distributes gas purification and filtration equipment in the Chinese and Asian Pacific markets. More recently, he was honoured as the 2018 Canadian Leader in Cleantech by Canada’s Clean50/Clean16 organization.

Dany Sarrazin-Sullivan
Manager, Investments
at Fonds de solidarité FTQ
A graduate of McGill University and HEC Montréal, Dany Sarrazin-Sullivan has over 20 years of experience in transportation, IT, clean technologies, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. He has notably held the positions of Investment Director at Société Innovatech du sud du Québec and as Vice-President, Products & Marketing at Elcotech Technologies, in addition to various key positions at GL&V Canada. In 2015, he founded the management consulting firm NovaVisio Consulting, where he coached young innovative companies through growth. He subsequently became a partner at Straccel before joining the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2018.
In his role as Manager, Investments at the FTQ, he can now dedicate his attention to innovative businesses that are helping to build a forward-thinking Québec cleantech industry and to promoting sustainable development in Québec and around the world.
